Frequently Asked Questions

What types of therapy do you offer?
I specialize in relationally focused and trauma-informed therapy. I also integrate spiritual and emotional wellness practices, especially in women’s retreats and clinical trainings.

Do you work with teens or children?
Yes. I’ve worked with individuals as young as 3, but I do think there are many therapists in Utah who are probably better with young children than myself. I tend to work well with adolescents starting around age 12.

What is your approach to therapy?
I believe individuals tend to have answers and resources within them and strive to collaborate with my clients to create meaningful change. I use a systemic lens, meaning I consider how past and current relationships, family systems, and life stages impact mental health. I also draw from attachment theory, experiential therapy, and narrative practices.

What is your session rate?
Sessions are $160 for a 45-55 minute session.

Do you accept health insurance?
I am in-network with DMBA and EMI Health. For other providers, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

Where are you located?
My practice is based in Provo, Utah.

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, I offer secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for Utah residents.

What are your women’s retreats like?
Retreats focus on rejuvenation, physical tasks, connection with others, and learning. Retreats tend to include guided workshops, group process, and wellness and movement practices such as hiking or rafting and yoga.

Do you train other clinicians?
Yes, I am available to train other mental and medical professionals. Please contact me for availability.

Can I book you to speak at an event?
